• 14 Mar 1733/4 Mr. BANGS having informd the Pastor of his non-complying with w^t y^e chh desired of him respecting his offending Son, the church appointed a Brother . viz : Judah BERRY to inform Dr. BANGS y^t the chh direct him to attend y^m the next Lords day at y^e conclusion of publick worship, y^t then y^e Pastor may inform and caution him respecting his evills, avove mentioned. On the same week, y^e above mentioned Brother made his return to y^e Pastor y^t Dr BANGS's answer wasyt it was his pleasure not to comply.
• Accordingly Dr. BANGS did not attend y^e Chh on y^e next Sabbath as he was directed; However y^e Chh concluded, on y^e motion mad to y^m, to wait sometime, for his triall whether he will yet bethink himself; before they Send a publick formall Admonition to him . this was concluded on, on 31 Mar 1734.
  On 28 Apr 1734 . the chh (having waited till then withuot any good event) voted an Admonition to be sent to him . accordingly the following one was sent y^e same Day by Deacon Lincoln; viz:
  Dr. Jonathan BANGS, you having absented yourself from y^e publick Worship, in this chh, wheoff you are a child both by birth and baptisme, or Lamb of y^e Flock, as Christ expresses it, now for near or quite a year; you having also refused to hear y^e Chh, when they sent to you to know y^e reason of your so absenting yourself; and after this still expressing further contempt of y^e authority of Christ in y^e Chh, by insultingly replying, y^t it was not your pleasure to comply with an order sent from y^e chh to you, to have attened at an appointed time to receive y^e Pastors information and cautions then to have been given to you; You also still persisting in the same neglect and contempt, after severall months patience exercised toward you; I doe now, in y^e Name and by y^e Authority of my Lord and Master, y^e exalted Redeemer, and with y^e consent of this his chh, solemnly warn and Admonish you, that your venture on no longer in this way of neglecting y^e ordinances and contemning y^e authority of y^e Lord Redeemer in this Chh; least you be Speechless at y^t Day, when we must all appear before y^e Judgm't Seat of Christ. -- Nath^ll STONE, Pastor

On 20 Apr 1735 the Chh gave their voice with me, y^t our Brother Joshua MARICK Should goe to her with this message, viz : You are directed by y^e Pastor with y^e consent of y^e Brethren to attend y^e Chh wheroff you are a child, within 2 or 3 Sabbaths, to receive an Admonition .... according to Gospell rule.
  This message was delivered as y^e messinger infored me . but She did not attend as appointed, nor did She give or Send any Reason why She did not. accordingly on 22 Jun 1735 a written Admonition, with y^e Consent of y^e Brethren, being read in y^e Congregation, was appointed to be sent to her by our Brother Eleazer CROSBY.

• Nath^ll FREEMAN of Prince having professed Subjection to y^e terms of y^e new Covenant & also to y^e government & watch of this Chh was Baptised 1 Jun 1740. His Son, Silvanus also on the Sabbath next following
• Prince FREEMAN's dau Mary ... made her publick confession, professed subjection to y^e new Covenant way to life, submision also to y^e government of this Chh, promissed to bring her child in y^e nuture and admonition of y^e Lord; wherupon She with her child, James were baptized on 8 Jun 1740

• Respecting our Brother K. WINSLOW, Evidences having been laid before the Chh, y^t he had made certain Proposalls before a number of persons; and after some time denyed y^t ever he had made any such proposalls; on y^e Evidences laid before y^m and pondered by y^m as to both his proposing, and after that denying, they voted y^t according to their judgments, on y^e Evidences laid before them, he had denyed the truth and to appearance the known truth, and that with a purpose to deceive. The Chh also having had Evidences laid before y^m y^t he had publickly said that he had proved Ensign CLARK a lyer by twelve me; the Chh voted that by y^e Evidences laid before them he was proved guilty of y^e Sensurable Sin of Reviling, according to w^t we read in I Cor : 6 . 10 . compared with I Cor : 5 . 11. Consequent on these votes concured by y^e Paston on 2 Nov 1740 . K. WINSLOW was publickly laid under Admonition for the above mentioned Scandalus Sin.

• On Sep 1743 . Sarah ROBBINS on account of testimonies brought in against here as being guilty of y^e Sin of lying, was directed by y^e Pastor not to come to y^e Ordinance of the Lords Supper. She professing to suppose y^t She could invalidate the Evidences, had severall weeks allowed her for it, but having not done it; the Evidences were laid before y^e Chh, on 16 Oct 1743. Also 2 of y^e Brethren were then chosen to goe to the women in Yarmouth who sent their evidences, to inquire of y^m whether they doe own and abide by their testimony; which these Brethren Since declare not only y^t they doe but y^t Matthias BIRGES testifies the Same with y^m, only wth ths reserve y^t to their best remembrance it was Sam^ll WING with whom y^e wager was Said to be laid . this one 30 Oct . was laid before y^e Chh, and it was proposed to y^m to consider how far this reserve would tend to invalidate their evidences, or whether it would doe it at all.
