PRESIDENT'S LETTER

To the Members of the Society:

A reaction throughout the world since the World War, is apparent in an awakening and striving on the part of many toward visionary ideals. Visionary, theoretical standards seldom have the practical, necessary founda- tion of fact to build upon.

The real extremist no matter what he strives for seldom stops to consider means that are fair to others. He tries to demoralize and destroy organized society in order to construct thereon his impracticable structure of sand.

America today is unfortunately full of this type, mostly those from foreign shores. Some honestly believe they are trying to save the world; others hope for plunder and heartless self advancement.

Such extremists sacrifice all to attain their object while the average self- satisfied citizen "sleeps." Most of these visionaries either know nothing of, or care but little for America, its history and ideals, but only for what they can personally get out of it.

Members of the Sons of the Revolution! You are asleep !- if you do not realize that in our country today there are organized groups seeking to force visionary forms of class government upon us, and that these groups have large financial backing both from other countries as well as from within the United States; and that they are striving through most skillfully organized means to destroy this government by undermining the principles and ideals upon which our country and government is established, substituting what they avowedly term "class" government in place of our present system of govern- ment which gives more nearly equal rights to all, than any other government in existence.

If they succeed, our present rights as guaranteed under the law will no longer exist. In their stead the beautiful picture of a re-born Russia will be ours, resplendent in glory, justice and equity to "all"!

If you believe in America for Americans; American ideals for America's future, then act! The older American stock alone, and those they can reach, must be depended upon to see American ideals maintained. Only by aggres- sively organizing to offset and spread an appreciation of American ideals among others, can this un-American foreign invasion be met and counter- acted. It must be defeated and can be by the group effort of all those able to join in the work.

This is what the Sons of the Revolution stands for! Invite your eligible friends of known loyalty to membership with us. Assist in making our Society the greatest force in existence for the maintenance of American ideals and standards, and in rectifying the abuses which have crept in, and again bring about the necessary respect for law and order and love for our country. Begin now, by securing the right type of new members.
