FORESTERS OF AMERICA.


The objects of this order are to unite fra- ternally all white males of good character be- tween the ages of 18 and 50 years, to aid its sick members, bury its dead, give relief to their widows and orphans, to find employment for unemployed members, and all other benevolent purposes. There are one hundred and fifty Courts in this state, with a membership of 18,000, also auxiliaries, which are known as Knights of Sherwood Forest. Companions of the Forest of America and Junior Courts.


The Supreme Head of the Order is known as the Supreme Court, and was organized in Minneapolis on August 15, 1889, they having on that day seceded from the Ancient Order of Foresters, whose Supreme Head is in England. The Supreme Court meets biennially and the next session will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, on the last Tuesday in August. 1923.


The Supreme Court comprises 1,865 Courts, with a total membership in the United States of 241,399 members.
