Lincoln Grammar School Association. This organization is composed of "Old Boys" of the Original Old Lincoln School, which formerly stood on Fifth street near Market, and was opened in 1865. The association is formed for the purpose of keeping alive the memories of the early days. The only requisite for membership is that the applicant shall have attended that school, whether as a graduate or not, at least thirty- three years before applying for member- ship. The period regulating membership is advanced one year at each annual banquet, which is held on Lincoln's Birthday, Feb. 12. The association has undertaken the work of erecting a me- morial of Lincoln in the Civic Centre, which will also perpetuate' the fact that the first statue to Lincoln ever erected
