With the new improvements just completed, the comforts and accommodations are equal to any resort in the State, and it is the purpose of the management to so conduct the same as to make it

. THE RESORT OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

for both health and pleasure seekers, a safe and reasonable place for persons to send their families for summer or winter, with assurance that every attention and care will be shown them.

We make our table a special feature. It is always supplied with the best that the market affords, and upon that point we invite comparison and criticism.

We refer with confidence to all persons who have been guests of this resort during the past two years.

Other Improvements .- There has also, within the last year, been completed a fine large dancing hall and opera house; also a boating lake, which is well stocked with choice ;fish. There is also à general merchandise store for the accommodation of guests and campers.

The Springs can be reached from any point on the Southern Pacific route by way of Calistoga, thence by stage direct from Calistoga to the Springs. Also by the Donahue route from San Francisco by way of Pieta, thence by stage direct to the Springs.

For routes and distances, examine map. The road over which parties now travel from Pieta, has recently been built at a cost of upwards of thirty thousand dollars, is one of the prettiest turnpikes on the Pacific Coast, the grade on which in no place exceeds six feet in one hundred. The stage lines are the best equipped and handled lines in existence. The scenery, varied and pleasant.

Passengers by way of the Donahue route, from San Francisco, only have about six hours' travel to reach the Springs.
