FORESTERS OF AMERICA.
The objecta of this order are to unite fraternally all white male of good char- acter between the ages of 18 and 50 years, to aid its sick members, bury its dead, give relief to their widows and orphans, to find employment for unemployed mem- bers, and all other benevolent purposes. There are one hundred and fifty Courta in this state, with a membership of 18,000, also auxiliarlea, which are known as Knights of Sherwood Forest, Companlong of the Forest of America and Junior Courta.
The Supreme Head of the Order is known as the Supreme Court, and was organized in Minneapolis on August 15, 1889, they having on that day seceded from the Ancient Order of Foresters, whose Supreme Head ia in England. The Supreme Court meeta biennlally and the next session will be held in Atlantic City, N. J., on the last Tuesday in August, 1919.
The Supreme Court comprises 1,865 Courts, with a total membership in the United States of 241,399 members.
