YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIA- TION-Organized July, 1853 ; rooms in Ar- mory IIall Building, corner Sansome and Montgomery streets. This Association is designed especially to promote the moral, in- tellectual, and social improvement of the young men of San Francisco, and is wholly free from sectarian aims and influences. The Reading Rooms are supplied with all the leading domestic and foreign papers and magazines. The Library contains about 1400 volumes, and is open daily from 3 to 10 P. M., except Sundays ; on Sundays from 8 1-2 to 10 1-2 A. M. Terms of membership- The payment of an annual fee of five dollars constitutes an active member, and of three dollars an associate member.
