The Association of American Directory Publishers is composed of reputable City Directory Publishers, organized for the general advancement of the Directory business. Any person, corporation or firm engaged in business as owner and publisher of a City Directory in the United States or Canada, who shall qualify as competent to gather information and compile a City Directory and furnish satisfactory references, is eligible to membership. The objects of the Association are:

FIRST. The advancement of the Directory business and the improvement of Directories by the interchange of ideas and the exchange of experienced employes.

SECOND. To provide protection to the public against fraud- ulent advertising schemes which operate under the name of Directories, and to drive unprincipled promoters of the same out of the business.

THIRD. To provide permanent and profitable employment to competent, industrious and honest Directory canvassers and compilers.

FOURTH. For the mutual protection and advancement of the established and prospective interests of all who may become members, by personal advice and assistance of members as may be mutually satisfactory, desirable or advisable, and by such other means as may, from time to time, be shown to be wise, proper and lawful.

$100.00 Reward

Will be paid by the Association for the arrest and conviction of any person or persons engaged in publishing, collecting or canvassing for any fraudulent or fake directory

CITY AND COUNTY COURT HOUSE.

PREFACE

DENVER DIRECTORY OFFICE, June, 1905.

The publishers of the Denver City Directory present this, the thirty-third issue, to our patrons and the public generally with the utmost confidence in its being received by them with the same favor and approval that our previous works have received.

It is hardly necessary to say that the usual care and dili- gence have been taken in compiling this volume, and it is believed that fewer errors will be found than in any like work heretofore issued. An errorless directory never yet has been published, a fact which should be borne in mind by over- captious critics.

In the present issue the streets whose names have been changed will be found in our street directory. The locations in all the outside districts will be found with both the old and new street names, as we consider the information better by using the old names of streets until the city government puts up the street signs.

As usual, we have directories of all the principal cities of the United States and Canada on file at our office for free public reference and are always pleased to have them made use of.

We thank the people of the city for the courtesy extended to our canvassers and to the business public for their liberal patronage.

THE PUBLISHERS.
