For convenience in locating the streets and avennes of the city, we have used the most prominent ones, and the Platte river as a commencement or dividing point. For instance, Larimer and Broadway streets, Downing and Colfax avenues, and the Platte river in Kast Denver, and the Boulevard, Gallup, Highland, Fairview and Ashland avenues in the north- west.
