In addition to the above, other worthy objects, which call for Christian cooperation, are occasionally brought to the notice of the Church.


There is a monthly contribution at the Lord's Supper, for the Church treasury, to be expended according to the provisions of Rule VIII.

During the winter, three contributions are received, the avails of which are for the benefit of the poor of the congrega- tion and are distributed by the Society's Committee.


In addition to the foregoing objects, for which stated contri- butions are received in the church, are two prominent local enterprises, which should not be neglected, and in whose behalf individuals are annually called upon to subscribe; i. e., the Orphan Asylum and the City Missionary Society.
