Of his sons, Bounty read his uncle Alan Randall's pl. by gift: Jogo m. 1673, and settled E of the Great River. Inter m. and rem. to Westfield.
Mr. William. 1623 6 . D.), lot gr. 6 r. wide, next N. of and adj. Mr. Rossiter, where he prob. res. first, but was one of those hours "drowned very deep" in the Flood of 1638.9.' and carly rem. to the high ground above the First Meadow lot wh. he bo't of Indians "abt. 1635." Marks of this dwelling still remain. His homestead fell to son Timothy.

Bine 5 or 6 rocks .. if the brick -- or Chaffee- ho .: his wife d. 1852: he d. 1678; previous to Nov. 1677, he had leased the pl. to Israel Dewey tas we learn from D's current art. P.'s ejecting him): no children.
PINNEY, Humphrey, 1620 (D.), lot gr. 17 r. wide, betw. Josiah (s. Geo.) Hall and John Rockwell; add. by purchase the Josiah Hull lot. 12 1. wide; lot now occup by the Roswell Miller pl.
PLYMOUTH HOUSE. 1623, lot 43; acres, Indian title. The material for the ho, pre pored in Flymn. M.s., and landed here by Capt. Holmes Oct 16 (6), 16 When the pioneers from Mass, can here in early summer of 1633, they were hospitably entertained at this ho. by Jonathan (s. of Elder, Brewster, and br was still here as the Co.'s aet in 1636. When the Plym. Co. soll their claim to the Dorchester people. 1931 (wh. covered a larger tract than shown in the accompanying map), they reserved this lot and ho and certain other tracts of upland. These were sold, 165%, to Mr. Matthew Allyn, of Hartford, who came here and occupied. There is strong presumptive evidence in support of the tradition that Mr. Allyn used the materials of this ho. in the construction of that wh. he erected on the reserved " acre on the hill."
POMEROY, Eltword, 1638 (D.). lo: gr. 15 r. wile (its S. W. cor. should be 29 r. N. of Palisolo) sold lot in Pal N. end of Meeting-house, on wh he had built a la. at time of Peq. War, to Thos. Nowell. 1641: remi, to Northampton before Oct . 1671.
His son Coleb m. 1664. when his father gave hin a part of the paternal home Jot W. of the st. which he soll, " with the frame of a building," and rem., 1671. to N .. he also sold to Tihan Grant that part of homestead E. of st inchid. that part wh. bud been set wait to Eltwound Pomeroy's wife, and the little stour bo. built by Mrs. Hait' which had been reserved. 1655, for his son Joseph, " when his time should be out " with Goodman Gunn.
POND, Samuel, 2611, bot (in several parcels) a lot 282 r. wide, on Silver St. bd. S. E. by Hollow Fall. N by Wm. Buteli: be d 16ak: his wid. sold bo. and lot to Richard Sexton 1855, and les sold the front peut with bo. to Wm Buell for his son Samuel, 1664, and (sante date) the rear to Thos. Barber. . Ir.

" next the mendlow 32" r .: the S. line was 50 r. in length from the nuoplow ro Mr. Weleott's lot. His meados was but 25} r. "against the house lot " (part of Merulow hill " against the Rivulet 23 rods," and bd. S. by the present road.

The Laml Records preserve this item: " Whereas Eltwed Pomeroy formerly gave Mrs. Elizabeth Huit, in the time of her widow bood, in: way of courtesy. to build her a house, by the help of her friends, adjoining to the end of his dwelling house, to use for her own during her life, which she enjoyed, and after her death the said Eltwed Pomeroy took it for his own, at a price agreed upon between him atul those which she desired as her overseers and friends to cider that little estate which she left for her chil- dren, which price he hath payed as they appointed him "
