Joseph Backus, 2nd Son of Joseph & Mary Backus, was born in Norwich, December Ist A. D. 1842. and died January 7th A. D. 1844. Aged one year one month & 6 days.
The above named children of Joseph & Mary Backus were all Baptized in childhood, by Rev. Seth B. Paddock, Rector, &c as above.
