On a Caveat entred by the said Cornel against Wil- agt. Lud. Wil- liams's Obtaining his Majesty's Grant for One hundred George Cornel and fifty Acres of Land in St George's Parish which said Caveat be- tween Cornel and Williams heard and de- termined. Land had been heretofore ordered the said Cornel; the Parties this day were heard in Council and it clearly appeared that the Land had been surveyed for and pos- sessed by Cornel for more than a Year past and that he had regularly paid Taxes for the Same And it also ap- peared by a Precept produced at the Board that he had paid the Deputy Surveyor the Money to take out his Majesty's Grant for the said Land which the said Sur- veyor had neglected to do Whereupon it was ordered that a Grant for the said Land should pass to and in the Name of the said George Cornel on his reimbursing the said Williams the Expence he had been at about the Same And that the said Williams on Application might have a like Quantity in another Place-
