PREFACE.
We present to our patrons this issue of the New Al- bany City Directory, believing it to be as near correct as a work of the kind can well be.
In the canvass every place of business and residence has been visited, and a great deal of care been taken to obtain the names of all persons who should figure in a .... City Directory. And we trust that the few errors which have unavoidably crept in, will be overlooked.
The Business Mirror contains a list of all the business houses, manufactories, professions, trades, &c., which will be found to be of much benefit as a guide to strangers visiting the city.
