Poplar Run monthly meeting of Friends held at Poplar Run 121 month 15th, 2881.


The "Friends appointed to visit Elizabeth fare "Weight, and others for their health and encouragement and inform" of their reception, report it has been attended to . " "The following named persons request to be joined in . membership with Friends, and this inviting is united in receiving them, and Elizabeth Anni Jessup and Margrate Mendenhall, with a committee of men- Friends are appointed to visit them for their help and encouragement, and inform them of their reception, and report to next meeting, Payton Barns, Rachael f. Barns, and their minor child Musella Barns. William Day, Ida Way Phillips, Nancy f. Smith, and. James Richard Dragoo.

It appears that that meeting is united in proposing that daydia Ann Wright be recorded a Minister of the Gosple, and this meeting unites. with them in judgement, and directs the bleck to give Winchester To marieily ameeting said information


: The Friends at Parker requests for a meeting for worship to be established at that place to be known as Parker Meeting, and to be held every two weeks, commencing the last first day in this(2nd.) month at half past ten in the morning, and this meeting is united in granting their request, and appoints. Cedar Preparative meeting complains of Heartha Ann Thornton for unchastity and this meeting is united in Testifying against. her, and Judith Lock and Mary D, Branson. are appointed to prepare a Testification and produce it to next meeting, also inform ner of the action Taken against her in this meeting,


Poplar Kun Preparative meeting complains of Hettie Ann Wolf, for unchastity and this meeting is united in Testifying against her and Eunice. R. Mendenhall, and Emilly Bond are appointed to prepare a Gestification and produce it to next meeting, also inform her of the action taken against her , in this meeting .

The Check being absent Elizabeth Ann Jessup was appointed Clerk for the day.


The committee having the care of Burials and Burial ground. made a satisfactory report, and the same Friends are continued. to have the care there of and report to this meeting in 6th month next. the name of the women of this committee are Jeary Diggs, Elizabeth of, perouh, Sarah do, Bond and Clarkie Oğlun,


The committee appointed to prepare a testification against Martha Ann Thornton produced one which was read. and signed and the same committee, namely Judith Lock, and Mary D. Branson, are directed to for her a copy there of , and report to next meeting


Testification. A minute was received and read for Meary Matilda Parker. granted her by White River monthly meeting of Friends held 2 nd, mo - 0 , 1881 . her go pel labor of love has been edifying to us .

Hettie Ann Wolf, report that she haveing changed her mind presents the following offering, which this meeting accepts, she is there fore retained a member. The same Friends, Ennice R. Townsend. are nominated in conjunction with men Friends to propose to next meeting the names of some. Friends to serve as a Home Mission Commit the enencing year.
