The program for the afternoon was. as follows: The relation between the American Friends Board and the other missionary boards. March 4th the AV. J. M.S. ' mich at the home of Ora O Winslow. after the season of devotion the lesson on Spain was given by the hostess. She used the map to good advantage and by a careful fore study was enabled? to give a very good idea of that Country and its needs. . Ora spoke of some of the prominent women, in the missionary work , and the great interest that was manifested thro out the mts , and the increased results and activity that will be fell in all mission- any circles. Myrtle spoke of the big lunchen which more than 1500 women attended .


14. Large sums of money were played by the women of the different denominations to further the missionary work. Lola Overman and Marie bassell gave reports of the young peoples convention held at anderson.


Rose Seal and Huldah Harvey were appointed to solicit funds for furnishing a room at Southland College, The room to be named for Anna Johnson who has always taken such a deep interest in the college .


Uma Johnson read a letter from Southland College Your new names were added to our membership . mary J. Winslow Maggie Overman Sutie Knight and Ella Ratliff.


On account of the lateness of the hour the lesson was postponed until the next meeting. a beautiful duet was sung by Mary Kelsey. and Pearl Buller. Penny bol. 264
