JEHIN AMBROSE GRAHAM
was born in Baltimore, Maryland, January S. 1817. His parents Were natives of Ireland, and came in the country in Ista. They landed in Baltimore in that year, after a storing passage of l'air months, their sessel being nearly wrecked, and lar passengers ander- going great hardships during their prolonged voyage
In 1826, the family moved in Pittsburgh, in 1 -27, In Wheeling ; and in 1428, back to Baltimore In JeSe, das moved to Harper's Ferry, and in 1832, to Indiana, the subject of this hetch remaining at Harper's Ferry, elerking in a dure, until 1-45. In May of thinit year, at the age of eighteen, le at irted for Indiana. which, at that day, was considered pretty far west.
