I was first man from Cass County, Indiana to be inducted into the service under the selective service law.


2: 15 PM Last man to be discharged from the regiment, 325th Field Artillery, when demobilized at Camp Sherman, Ohio, Mar 1, 1919


325th Field Artillery Left Camp Taylor, Ky. June 29, 1918 and moved into camp at Artillery Rance, West Point, Ky. same night.


Entrained at West Point, Ky. Sept.3rd, 1918 arriving at Camp Mills, Long Island on Sept. 5th, 1918.


Embarked on S.S. CANADA Sept.8th, 1918 and sailed Sept. 9th, 1918.


Arrived Glasgow, Scotland, Sept. 21, 1918 and immediately en -. trained for Winchester, England, arriving Camp Winall Downs on the 22nd.


On account of inglish trains going on strike for few days, regiment was obliged to hike to Southampton, 18 miles, with full packs, where American transport was boarded night of Sept. 26th.


Arrived Le Havre, France morning of Sept.27th, 1918, was there one night, then boarded box cars for two day's ride to Camp de Souge, France, about ten miled from Bordeaux. Balance of camps as stated or other pages.
