Lynn Lodge with this small membership started to aid and, 'n'levia'e suffering mankind. and in its infancy encountered many difficulties, having an indebted- hoss to start with and a rented hall for their castle. By the en- ergy. aggressiveness and perse- verence of its members, the order after a season of adversity, soon began to grow in its finances.


A new Castle Hall was erected and in Det. JASS. was dedicated to Pythianism, Major Gen. Car- nahan of the Uniform Rank of the world making the dedica: tory address.


The new Castle Hall was fully equipped with all necessary for- niture and paraphernalie, and an era of properity began. The ledge continued to grow, and to. day has a member hip of fis true and tried Knights. On Feb. 26. 1894. death entered our port- als, and took from our midst our dear beloved brother, George W. Daly, and on Arg. 5. 1896. again entered and claimed our cherish- el brother, Fred Wight.


Lynn lodge has paid to sick brothers since its institution. benefits amounting to $1642.50, and in benefits and nurse hire a total of $2272.00.

He received his education in the graded soloo's here and in 1-29 and so attended Normal school, afterwards passing exami- nation receiving the best certif- cate to be given in those days.
