-One of fifty-two similar co-operating (but legally independent ) organizations, located in larger cities throughout the United States and Canada.

-An Indianapolis Institution, maintained by legiti- mate business to protect confidence in advertising and selling, and to combat, by all lawful means, the sale of fake or fraudulent securities.

-A non-profit, semi-public corporation, organized under the laws of Indiana and paying no dividends.

-Supervised by a Board of Directors of twenty-one prominent Indianapolis business men who meet regularly and serve without any compensation -whatsoever.
