ANALYTICAL INDEX
1 ) THIL
PITTSFIELD SUN
FROM 1800 TO 1905.
ANALYTICAL INDEX
TO THE
Pittsfield Sun
FROM 1800 TO 1905.
This index has been made in the regular course of work at Berkshire Athenæum, Pittsfield, Mass., and is primarily intended for use in con- nection with the Reference department of the library.
It is not, of course, a complete index, but, as its title implies, is an alphabetical analysis of the contents of THE SUN for one hundred and five years, with particular reference to matters of local interest.
The notices of marriages and deaths before 1850, are limited to extended mention of persons of historical interest.
NOTE :- The figures give the year; then the day of the month, followed by the number of page referred to.
