PREFACE
We herewith present our patrons with the tenth volume of the Arlington Directory. We are grateful to all those who aided us in collecting matter for the book. We are pleased to note the encouragement of our advertisers who compose the wideawake and enterprising merchants of Arlington and other towns.
The Directory is an indispensable adjunct to the office, man- ufactory or house, and no doubt without it much valuable time would be lost in locating persons, companies, institutions, etc.
A careful canvass has been made of the town by experienced men. The correctness of the information lays more or less with the people, themselves.
Thanks are returned to all who have given information or aided us in any way.
We hope to issue the book again in two years.
We remain respectfully, BOSTON SUBURBAN BOOK CO. EDWARD A. JONES, Treasurer. Old South Bldg., room 1013, Boston.
