PREFACE.
N presenting the fourth volume of the BLUE BOOK of Brookline, to the majority of it's citizens without any compensation from them, we wish to say you are indebted to the enterprise and liberality of the advertisers for the valuable reference book and House Directory. As you refer to its pages during the coming year we hope you will find something advertised there that will interest you. We have been careful to advertise only those whom we could highly recommend as worthy of your patronage.
We are pleased to say that it has met with a kind reception by the residents of Brookline who have found it a very desirable little book to refer to.
We desire to thank the many advertisers for the generous 1 patronage bestowed upon the work.
We shall issue the BLUE BOOK annually.
