PREFACE.

We herewith present to the attention of our patrons Volume Fourteen of the series of Brookline Blue Books. Allston and Brighton have been included as in former editions, making the book larger and more valuable.

As this is the only BLUE BOOK of BROOKLINE we hope to merit a share of the advertising patronage which is designed to reach Brookline society. Some advertisers labor under the impression that there is another one.

We thank our many patrons for their orders in the only exclusive BROOKLINE BLUE BOOK, and hope to enlarge and improve it each year as the population increases.

Respectfully, EDWARD A. JONES.
