PREFACE.

We herewith present to the attention of our patrons the seventeenth volume of the Brookline Blue Book.

We cannot say much in addition to what we said a year ago, except we return thanks to all who have responded to our requests for information and aided us in any way while compiling it.

Some years our book comes too late to deliver it to subscribers who go away early for the summer. We shall try to issue the book earlier hereafter, so as to deliver before the departure of any subscriber.

We call particular attention to the announcements of our advertisers and trust they will receive a return for their expenditure.

Expecting to issue the book again early next year, We remain,

Respectfully, EDWARD A. JONES.
