PREFACE.
In issuing the nineteenth volume of the Brookline B'ue Book we wish to express our gratitude to our many patrons for their orders and return thanks to all who have responded to our inquiries for information.
We have changed the size of type in this year's book. making a neater and more condensed volume than the last .. ,
We include the best part of Allston and Brighton, as heretofore, and issue a map of both places.
The North Shore Blue Book we sha'l issue about July first. The South Shore we will issue again, either this season or the next.
We shall endeavor to reach all the kading towns and resorts along the South Shore and Buzzard's Bay, where the Summer Residences are located.
We still hear of some people who do not know Jones' Brookline Blue Book is the only one issued for Brookline. Theyare made to believe there is another. The instances are rare, however.
Hoping the book will be found useful both for home and office,
We remain, respectfully,
April 16th, 1904.
EDWARD A. JONES.
