PREFACE.

This volume makes the twentieth of the series of Brookline Blue Books.

The town has increased very materially in the last twenty years and the size of the Blue Book has increased with it.

We have made some additions to it beside the names and are willing to im- prove it in any way we can to add to its value as a home reference book.

There are no new features to bring to our readers' attention. We have fol- lowed the same style and plan as last year.

The Brighton and Allston section contains the street list. We publish that with alphabetical list in a separate book.

The North Shore Blue Book will be issued about July first and the South Shore a few weeks later. Respectfully, May 1, 1905 EDWARD A. JONES.
