Giving the Names of the Hotels using the Advertising Register Books obtained from the several Members of the HOTEL REGISTER PUBLISHERS' ASSOCIATION for the respective States mentioned, also giving the Hotel Rates per day, and the CENSUS, or the ESTIMATED POPULATION of the Cities and Towns where the Hotels are located.

For the benefit of our hotel patrons and their guests, we bind in the back of the Ad- vertising Register Books published by us, a copy of the "AMERICAN HOTEL GUIDE," giv- ing the "names of the hotels, the town or city where located, and rate per day" of hotels ob- taining their Registers from the undersigned.
As this Guide is kept for reference in those places where the traveling or business public seek information regarding the cities and towns whither they may be going, it affords an advertisement to the hotels represented in these columns that cannot be replaced by from $200 to $500 per year otherwise invested for adver- tising purposes. Any hotel-keeper doubting this statement can best ascertain the facts by having his hotel not represented in this "GUIDE" for a year or two, while the other hotels of his locality are thereby advertised on the public counters of over 6,000 hotels throughout the States, the Territories, Canada, and Old Mexico. We believe the experiment will convince him that our estimate of its value to him is not over estimated.
