F RANCIS F. MORTON would respectfully inform his friends and patrons that he has retired from business as a builder and will hereafter devote his time to superintending the construction of dwellings and other buildings.

For nearly forty years he was the senior partner of the late firm of Morton & Chesley, builders, thereby having acquired an extensive experience in the erection of buildings of every kind. In the Back Bay district alone, he has erected upwards of two hundred houses, including those of Ex-Governor Ames, and Ex-Governor Wolcott. Some of the prominent buildings erected by him in Brookline are the residences of B. Schlesinger, J. O. H. White, Joseph H. White, E. D. Jordan, Geo. W. Armstrong, Dana Estes and the Beaconsfield Terraces, also many noted public and private buildings in Boston, New York and other cities.

Persons contemplating building will do well to consult him, and thereby save expense and secure well constructed buildings. He will furnish plans if desired, or will give the benefit of his experience to owners in arranging their plans and thereby secure the best results.

Property appraised for investors. Losses by fire adjusted.

OFFICE, 85 DEVONSHIRE STREET, Room 5. Telephone, 3117 Boston.
