SINGER'S SEWING MACHINES.
These Machines have an established reputation all over the civilized world. Some of their main practical advantages over other machines, for similar purposes, are as follows :
1st. They are superior in mechanical workmanship. No attempt has ever been made at expensive ornamentation, but all the working parts of our machines are made with the highest possible finish, without regard to the cost.
2d. They are more profitable to the buyers than any other. The fair average clear profit of one of these machines, regu- larly employed, is ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR.
3d. They are universal in their application to practical work. With the same machine fine muslin may be stitched with the finest cotton thread, every description of tailoring work be done, and shoes, harness, or other leather-stitching executed, and each of these kinds of work is performed bet- ter than by any other machine.
4th. They are more durable and less liable to get out of order than any other. This results necessarily from their perfect contrivance and construction.
5th. Whoever buys one of our machines knows to a cer- tainty that it will perform the work required.
6th. Our machines make a fast stitch that will neither rip, ravel, nor pull out.
In order to place the best Family Machines in the world within the reach of all, we have reduced our Letter A, or TRANSVERSE SHUTTLE MACHINES, beautifully orna- mented, to $50.
SINGER'S NO. 1 & 2 STANDARD SHUTTLE MA- CHINES, both of very general application and capacity, and popular both in the family and manufactory. Prices reduced respectively from $135 and $150 to 90 and $100.
SINGER'S NO. 3 STANDARD SHUTTLE MACHINE, for Carriage-makers and heavy Jeather work. P'rice, com- plete, $125. Also, to complete the list, an -
ENTIRELY NEW ARTICLE, unequalled for manufac- turing purposes; Noiseless, Rapid, and capable of every kind of work! Price (including iron stand and drawers), $110,- cheaper at that, in view of its value, than the machines of any other maker as a gift.
0> All persons wishing full information about Sewing Machines, Prices, Sizes. &c., can obtain it by applying at either of our offices, by letter, for a copy of L. M. Singer & Co. 's Gazette, a paper entirely devoted to the subject. It will be sent gratis. I. M. SINGER & CO.

BOUDOIR SEWING MACHINE. Daniel Harris, inventor and patentee.
This Machine is now offered to the public, improved as a DOUBLE-THREAD MACHINE,
making the justly celebrated GROVER & BAKER STITCH, that will not slip though every fourth stitch be cut. It is the BEST MACHINE making the above stitch by authority of the Grover & Baker Sewing Machine Com- pany, at the low price of
FORTY DOLLARS.
The above Machine is, with this improvement, the best low-priced Machine now before the public, and all persons desirous of purchasing are requested to give it a careful examination before purchasing elsewhere. It is truly a Family Machine, and will perform more work in one hour than the best seamstress in one day, and do it better.
A new HEMMER, which stitches the hems upon the RIGHT SIDE, of any width, and a new gauge for straight sewing, with which you cannot fail to sew a straight seam, adapted to any sewing machine, is also offered.
MACHINES TO LET, With privilege of purchasing.
