School of Expression TRAINING FOR MIND, BODY AND VOICE
Courses for Speakers, Teachers, Readers, Dramatic Artists and all Professions. Special Courses Saturday Evenings
"For years the work of this school has attracted the interested attention of earnest scholars and leaders of thought who appreciate the importance of an institution where the great fundamental laws of expression are so elucidated as to lift the curse of ignorance and charlatanism from the noble art of public speaking."
Editor B. O. Flower, in the "Arena" for July, 1908.
"There are few American teachers -- -- of speaking -- -- who will not testify to the soundness of his methods and his almost fanatical devotion to ideals in his art." Shailer Matthews, in "The World Today." February, 1908.
If you have any trouble with your voice, or believe in the harmonious training of mind, voice and body, or wish culture in any phase of litera- ture, call and investigate. One of the teachers will be in attendance daily, from 9 to 5. Catalogue and the two articles quoted above sent on appli- tion.

FOREWORD
One of the most useful, almost indispensible books for the of- fice, manufactory, shop, railroad stations, steamboat lines and last but not least the household and business world, is the Directory, without it, much valuable time is lost, to say nothing of the loss of one's patience looking for a name,a number, the location of some st- reet or society, or for any other of the items which, with the aid of a Directory, can be found at a moment's notice.
In this issue of the Cambridge Directory, our canvass has been thorough and painstaking, although the correctness of our informat- ion, rests largely with the people, who sometimes under-estimate the importance of the items asked for and occasionally refuse them entirely. We believe this book will be found as accurate as care and skill, under the given conditions, can make it.
The patronage of the public for our advertisers, who reperesent the pluck and energy of the business men of the city of Cambridge is solicited. You will find them always willing and anxious to accomodate you to the best of their ability.
Trusting the citizens in general will co-operate with us in our future efforts to furnish a book full of useful information, we remain
Respectfully,
W. A. Greenough & Co.
