To PARKER W. WEBSTER, Constable of the Town of Palmer, Greeting :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn all the inhabitants of the Town of Palmer, qualified to vote in elections and town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall, in said Palmer, on Monday, the nineteenth day of March inst., at nine o'clock A. M., to act on the following articles, viz :-
ART. 1. To choose a Moderator to preside in said meeting.
2. To choose all necessary Town Officers for the year ensuing.
3. To act on the Annual Report of the Selectmen, School Com- mittee, Overseers of the Poor, and other officers of the Town.
4. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the School Commit- tee to appoint a Superintendent of the Town Schools.
5. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to pay State and County taxes, for the support of Schools, for the support of Highways and Bridges, and all other town charges for the ensu- ing year, and make appropriations of the same.
6. To see if the Town will raise any money, and appropriate the same to liquidate or reduce the debts of the Town.
7. To determine the manner of repairing the Highways and Bridges the ensuing year.
8. To see what course the town will take to collect the taxes that may be assessed the year ensuing.
9. To revise the list of Jurors.

10. To see what action the town will take in regard to the law- suits now pending against said town.
11. To choose an Agent or Agents, and give them instructions.
12. To see if the town will raise any money, and appropriate the same to repair the Warren road from the house of J. S. Hast- ings to the house of Margaret and Jane McMasters.
13. To see if the town will allow each School District to choose their own Prudential Committees.
14. To see if the town will give the Rev. E. H. Watrous, addi- tional compensation for his services as Superintendent of Schools the past year, and pass any vote on the same.
15. To choose Committees and give them instructions.
16. To hear reports of Committees, and act on the same.
And you are hereby required to serve this warrant by posting up attested copies thereof at the different public places designated by vote of the town, eight days at least before the holding of said meeting. Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the time of said meeting.
