Report of the Selectmen.
Our contingent expenses have been unusually large, on account of the awards of damages on grade crossings at Blanchardville to Messrs. Brigham and Plympton, also defending suits against the town in the Coffin and Moran cases, but taking all the appropriations and expenditures, we have a balance to our credit of thirteen hun- dred and twenty-four dollars and twenty-eight cents.
