The Auditors find that the sum of $844.98 has been paid by the Treasurer and Superintendent, for Town Expenses, not included in the. Orders drawn by the Selectmen and Overseers of the Poor. And they would add, that they are dependant upon the Treasurer, personally, for a full list of Notes payable, owing to the manner which this account has been kept. We would respectfully suggest, that an improved system of keeping the Town accounts generally, should be adopted.
