Causes of death : old age, 6; lung diseases, 10; infantile, 9; ac- cident, 3; other causes, 10. The age of the oldest person was 91 years 11 months 17 days. The number of deaths in each of the consecutive years, 1885, 1886, and 1887, was the same, viz., 38.


NOTE. - Births occurring late in the year are sometimes returned without the Christian name. In all such cases, parents should return the name to the Town Clerk as soon as selected, as an incomplete- ness of the record muy involve much trouble in the future.


REPORT ON DOG LICENSES.


Paid into the treasury of Middlesex County, on account of dog licenses, as per receipts of the Treasurer on file, dated respectively June 16, 1887, and Dec. 16, 1887, the sum of three hundred and sixty-nine dollars and sixty cents ($369.60).
