FLINT PUBLIC LIBRARY. FIFTEENTH ANNUAL REPORT.

The past year has been a prosperous one in the history of our Library.

New books have been added within the year, including a set of Encyclopædia Britannica.

The list of periodicals for use in the Reading Room has been increased this year by the addition of "The Cosmopolitan " " The Electrical Engineer " and " The Youth's Companion " while the " Electrical Review " has been discontinued.

Through the kindness of Mr. W. S. Armstrong, formerly a resi- dent of this town, we have received "The Dolgeville Herald, N. Y." weekly.

Many new names have been added to the list of those who take books from our Library.

Although as may be noticed the circulation is less than that of the previous year, we are glad to note a large increase in circula- tion in the past few months.

The increasing number of those frequenting the Reading Room to read the Magazines and consult books of reference is a favorable feature which has been noticeable.

Few towns of a size similar to our own have the privileges of so large and constantly increasing library as the inhabitants of this town, and we trust that those who avail themselves of these advantages will hold in grateful remembrance the names of those whose thoughtfulness and kindness have made this enjoyment theirs.

Respectfully submitted,
