CEMETERY FUNDS.

1898. DR.

Jan. 4. Ellis Griffith, cemetery fund deposited in Wareham Savings Bank, with inter- est, less amounts withdrawn to date, $274.30 E. T. Stetson, shade tree, and ceme- tery fund deposited in Plymouth Savings Bank, with interest to date, 539.33

E. T. Stetson, shade tree and ceme- tery fund, with interest to date, 561.II

T. B. Griffith, cemetery fund depos- ited in Plymouth Savings Bank, with interest to date, 1,040.00 .

P. W. Bump, cemetery fund depos- ited in Plymouth Savings Bank, with interest to date, 104.00

Charles W. Griffith, cemetery fund loaned to Town of Carver, for which a note bearing interest has been given, . 500.00

It will be seen by the above that the town still owes a note of $500.00, which, after deducting $37.58 cash on hand, leaves the town actually in debt for running ex- penses to the amount of $462.42.

This was caused mainly by the cost of clearing the roads of snow in November and the expense of repairing and furnishing the almshouse for which no appropriation was made at the last town meeting.

We the undersigned, subscribers, have this day audited the accounts of the Town Treasurer of Carver. We have carefully examined his record of receipts and expenditures, and compared his vouchers.

We have also examined his bank account of deposits, and checks drawn against the same, and we have counted the cash in the treasury. We find the Town Treasurer's accounts correct.
