PLYMOUTH, CARVER & WAREHAM STREET RAILWAY LOAN.
At a special town meeting held October 18, 1903, it was voted that the town hire $15,000.00 and purchase 1500 shares of the Plymouth, Carver & Wareham Street Railway.
Hired of Jose, Parker & Co. at 4 per cent., $15,000.00, giving the notes of the town in yearly payments of $1,500 each, until paid, with a premium of $15.00, and interest at the rate of 4 per cent. on any unexpended balance. The whole amount to be left with them on deposit, subject to orders from the town treasurer as needed.
