P. F. WHITMORE,
A. W. HUBBARD,
G. W. POMEROY,
Selectmen of Sunderland
The orders drawn by the Selectmen, authorizing the dis- bursement of town funds, I have found to agree with the payments made by the Treasurer. So, in my opinion, this report is accurate.

Road Report
January 17, 1933
To the Selectmen :-
The following I submit as the road report for 1933:
Road work in 1933 was mostly scraping and filling the washouts to keep the roads passable. I recommend an applica- tion of Tariene on a part of Pound road the coming year.
Chapter 90 work was done in two sections on the Upper Montague road. In the first part of May one section of 1300 feet was started which consisted of filling, grading and graveling. A large culvert was placed with a head wall at each end by Carlton Gunn's home.
Work on the other section started in September by Leon Rose's home. This was done by placing culverts with head walls or drop inlets where specified on the 2100 foot section. After the culverts were placed the ledge was removed and shoulders built, a 12 inch gravel fill was put in over the distance mentioned above.
The hauling of gravel on this work was mostly done with local teams.
