Having served the town as Treasurer for the past five years, and feeling that the responsibility of the position together with the ever increasing demands of the State is more than I care to assume this year, I wish to thank the Town Officials and all of the townspeople for their kind co-operation during my term of service.

Respectfully submitted

EFFIE T. SWINDELL,

Treasurer.

REPORT

OF THE

FIRE WARDEN

The Fire Warden wishes all persons to comply with the law in regard to securing permits before starting fires in the open, between March 1st, and December 1st.

This year extra precautions should be taken because of the unusual quantity of standing grass left unharvested in the fields and a warning is issued to smokers to be extremely careful while in the open. Cigarette stubs should be dropped only in a dirt road or pond.

Report to warden any smoke as soon as seen, which might lead to a forest fire.

CHARLES H. TROWBRIDGE

Fire Warden.

Respectfully submitted,

ORTON O. BUTLER, Auditor.
