The excess of school expenditures this year over previous years is due to the fact that all school bills are paid to Jan. 1, 1892, making fourteen months' expenses instead of twelve. The last two months are usually carried over to the following year.

REMARKS.


In making up the foregoing Report it is found that the number of births entered upon record is exactly the same as that of last year, which was forty-four; and the number of marriages is nineteen less than in 1890. The number of deaths is sixty-four, being the greatest number that has occurred since the year 1866, and twenty-one in excess of 1890. Thirty-three marriages have been placed upon record the past year, and the marriage rites were performed by the following named clergymen and Justices of the Peace : Rev. Mr. Snow, 11; Rev. Mr. Wilkins, 6; Rev. Mr. Staples, 3; Rev. Mr. Arbuthnot, 2; Rev. Mr. McAllister, 2; Rev. Messrs. Buchey, Parker, Smith, Burrell, Carter, Andrews and Elmer, 1 each ; W. F.
