The number of births entered upon record the past year is three in excess of the year previous. Twenty-nine of the number are males and seventeen are females.


Sixty-two deaths have occurred in town the past year, against fifty in 1892. With the exception of the year 1891, the death rate has not reached to such a high point since the year 1866. That year sixty-four deaths were recorded.
