Warrant for Annual Town Meeting.

To either of the Constables of the Town of Hamilton in said County,
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Hamilton, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the vestry in said town, on Tuesday the thirteenth day of March, 1894, at 9.30 o'clock (A. M.) in the forenoon, then and there to act on the following articles, viz. :
ARTICLE 1. To choose a moderator to preside in said meeting.
ARTICLE 2. To choose all necessary town officers for the year ensuing.
ARTICLE 3. . To hear the report of the Selectmen and act thereon.
ARTICLE 4. To hear the reports of committees and act thereon.
ARTICLE 5. Shall licenses be granted in the town of Hamilton for the sale of intoxicating liquors the year ensuing.
ARTICLE 6. To see if the town will accept of the street known as Home street, running from Railroad Ave. to Linden street so called. Said street to be built as now laid out by the Selectmen, and appropriate money for the proper grading of same. As petitioned for by A. E. Potter and others.
ARTICLE 7. To see what action the town will take on the petition of F. W. Brown and others in regard to widening

the road and bridge on Woodbury street near Dodge's corner, and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 8. To see what action the town will take in pro- viding a suitable lockup, the same to be situated near the Wenham and Hamilton R. R. Station and appropriate a sum of money for the same as petitioned by L. E. Libby and others.
ARTICLE 9. To see if the town will accept the provisions of Chapter 431 of the Acts of 1888, and subsequent amend- ments, relating to the employment of a Superintendent of Schools, and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 10. To see if the town will vote to unite with the towns of Wenham, Essex, Topsfield, Salisbury, West Newbury or with any one of the same or more to employ a Superintendent of Schools.
ARTICLE 11. To see what action the town will take in regard to publishing the address of Rev. Temple Cutler at the Centennial Celebration, with such other part of the pro- ceedings as may seem expedient.
ARTICLE 12. To see if the town will appropriate a sum of money not to exceed fifty ($50) dollars for the proper obser- vance of Decoration Day by the soldiers of the late rebellion.
ARTICLE 13. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to defray town charges the year ensuing.
ARTICLE 14. To appropriate money for the repairs of highways and bridges, and determine the manner of expend- ing the same.
ARTICLE 15. To see if the town will authorize their Treasurer to hire money under the direction of the Select- men, in anticipation of taxes.
ARTICLE 16. To see if the town will authorize their collector to use all means of collecting the taxes which a

Town Treasurer, when appointed a collector, may use agreeably to Chap. 18, Sec. 73 of the Public Statutes.
ARTICLE 17. To see at what time tax bills shall be issued and taxes become due, and what rate of interest shall be charged on taxes not paid when due, and what discount shall be allowed on all taxes paid within a specified time.
ARTICLE 18. To see if the town will accept the list of jurors as proposed by the Selectmen and posted.
ARTICLE 19. To act on any other matter that may legally come before said meeting.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting attested copies thereof, one at the meeting house and one at some other public place in said town seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the town clerk, at the time and place of holding said meeting.
