School Committee orders,

23

The Selectmen respectfully submit the foregoing state- ment and would state in addition, that they have erected 18 guide boards, which they consider sufficient for the present need; also that they have not put in a watering tank near E. B. Bridgman's, because they do not find fall enough to prevent a frozen failure in winter weather; that they have putin a watering tub near George Coleman's, and woul recommend that a tank be erected near the house of Mrs. Hoyt, taking the water from springs near Francis .Ed- wards' house, at a cost of about $70, or at the foot of the grade near G. Burt's, taking the water from a spring in the side hill below his house, at about one third of that expense,

They submit further that the foundation wall of the Town Hall on the north side is tumbling down, and recommend that it be inspected on March 24, and an appropriation be made to rebuild it, and in connection with that to put in a Lock-up under the Hall; all of which is respectfully sub- mitted by

A. G. JEWETT, E. W. KINGSLEY, A. D. RICE,

Selectmen of Westhampton.

WESTHAMPTON, March 1, 1890.

Having this day examined the accounts and vouchers of the selectmen, I hereby certify that I find the same correct.
