Articles in the Warrant For Annual Town Meeting, March 6, 1922


Article 1 To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.


Art. 2 To choose a Town Clerk.


Art. 3 To hear and act on all reports presented at said meeting.


Art. 4 To choose all necessary Town Officers to serve the ensuing year.


Art. 5 To vote yes or no on the question: Shall License be granted for the sale of certain non-intoxicating beverages in this town.


Art. 6 To see if the town will take any action in re- gard to its highways.


Art. 7 To raise and appropriate such sums of money as may be necessary to defray town charges the ensuing year.


Art. 8 To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money for the service of Memorial Day.


Art. 9 To see if the town will vote to ratify and con- firm the doings of its Town Officers.


Art. 10 To take action in regard to the collection of taxes.


Art. 11 To see if the town will raise and appropriate $50.00 for the support of the Hampshire Trustees for County Aid to Agriculture, and elect a director of that organiza- tion who will be the official town representative for said Trustees, as per Chap. 273 of the Acts of 1918.


Art. 12 To see if the town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money in anticipation of revenue of the current finincial year.


Art. 13 To see if the town will vote to discontinue the road near the house of Chas. T. Williams leading to the late Lewis Williams farm.


Art. 14 To see if the town will vote to discontinue the road leading to the old Langdon place so called, commencing at the fork of road a few rods North of the corner of road near the late Geo. Hathaway house.


Art. 15 To see if the town will vote to discontinue the road, commencing at the end of road near the late Dennis Courtney's barn leading South to the land of Holyoke Water department.


Art. 16 To see if the town will take any action in re. gard to procuring a snow roller and make an appropriation for the same.
