It is my privilege to submit the accompanying report of Receipts and Expenditures of the County of Hampden for the year ending De- cember 31, 1959. The Report of the County Commissioners follows the Treasurer's Report, both being printed in this form to comply with the General Laws of the Commonwealth.


The Annual Report of the County Retirement Board and of the Trustees for County Aid to Agriculture are included herewith.


The County Tax for 1959 was assessed according to law on the nineteens towns and four cities in the county and was paid in full on or before the due date of November 1st, 1959.
