Calls for the assistance from Bos- ton by striking ten blows, followed by box number on all bells

The recall signal is to be given by striking two blows on all bells, ex- cept when a second box has been given before the recall signal of the first box has been sounded, then the recall will be two blows followed by the box number

If before the recall is sounded for a first alarm from a given box, an alarm is received from another box responding to the alarm from the first box, all companies that would respond to a second alarm from the first box will answer the alarm from the second box

In case a third alarm has been given and before the recall signal is sounded, an alarm should be rung from another box, all unemployed companies will respond, also engine company from Boston which would respond in case a call for assistance had been rung from that box
