VICTORY EDITION
FRANCIS J. PERRY
Francis was just out of school when he joined the Army as a private on August 24, 1943. He was assigned to the Paratroopers of the 13th Airborne Division. He was later transferred to the 517 Com- bat Team. He left New York on a captured Ger- man ship re-named the George Washington. He landed at LeHavre. He saw action in France and Germany. Of the eleven jumps he made, ten were during his training and one in France. He has the ETO ribbon. He was discharged on February 4, 1946 as a private.
NORMAN P. PERRY
Norman enlisted in the Navy as apprentice seaman on February 19, 1944. He was stationed at Sampson, N. Y., for his boot training. For two years he was aboard the Destroyer Escort USS Strub. He has the ETO ribbon and the Asiatic-Pacific rib- bon with two battle stars. At pres- ent he is serving in the Navy as Seaman First Class.
JOHN D. PERRY
John worked for General Electric previous to his going to Fort Devens as a private. He was assigned to the Signal Corps at Camp Wood and Camp Maxey, Texas. He was dis- charged as a Pfc. on November 10, 1945. He has returned to General Electric.
ROBERT T. PERRY
Robert left his clerk's desk to en- list from Newton in the Navy on December 13, 1941. He had his boot training at Lockwood Basin. For two years and three months, he was with the Chinese Guerrilla Army. He has the American Theatre, the Asiatic-Pacific and the ETO ribbons with three battle stars. He was dis- charged on the 20th of January, 1946, as a Chief Petty Officer. He is now a buyer at the Raytheon Manufac- turing Company.

Steve was in the U. S. Navy for three years, He saw service in the Pacific aboard the Bon Homme Richard aircraft carrier.

CHESTER S. JACKSON
Before being inducted into the U. S. Army, Chester was a member of the Merchant Marines. He was inducted at Fort Devens and assigned to the Engr. Util. Det. He left Boston for the European theatre and participated in the battles of Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.
His medals and ribbons include the Victory and Good Conduct medals, the Merchant Marine Com- bat Bar, Atlantic War Zone, and the American and European Theatre campaign ribbons,
As a private first class, he received his honorable discharge on January 21, 1946.
LORING H. JACKSON, JR.
Loring, a shipper in civilian life, joined the Sea Bees in July, 1943, and received his boot training at Camp Peary, Va. He left Gulfport, Miss., for the Pacific theatre, having been in Bougainville and New Caledonia.
A Y 1/c, he was discharged at the Fargo Barracks on February 2, 1946.

JAMES F. TOBIN
James entered the U. S. Army Air Corps on March 29, 1944, as a pri- vate. He received his training at Sheppard Field, Texas and Scott Field, Ill., in the army airways com- munication system.
He was discharged on January 3, 1945 and is now working as a postal clerk. Before the war he was a set-up assembler.
PAUL EDWARD TOBIN
Paul entered the U. S. Army in 1943 and was stationed at Camp Crowder, Mo. He was sent to a signal corps school for further train- ing and embarked from New York in November 1944 for England.
He was stationed in France and Germany and is still in the service, with the rating of corporal, but ex- pects to be discharged soon.
He is one of three brothers who were in the service.
WILLIAM H. TOBIN
As a Sgt., William received his discharge from the U. S. Army Air Corps at Fort Devens on February 15, 1946, after three and one-half years' service.
He entered the armed forces Sep- tember 1, 1942 and was sent to the Aviation Institute of Technology in New York City where he was trained in aircraft and aircraft engine mechanics.
He was stationed for a while on the west coast and wears the Amer- ican Theatre, Good Conduct and Victory ribbons.
He was employed as an assembly mechanic before the war.

LOUIS HENRY
Louis Henry was employed as an acetylene burner when he joined the U. S. Army on January 1, 1943. He was sent to Camp Sibert in Alabama. He was assigned to the Chemical Warfare Service as a Toxic Gas Handler and then went to Camp Stoneman, San Francisco to await shipment to the Pacific Ocean Area. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Unit Plaque, the Good Con- duct medal, the Asiatic-Pacific and American Theater ribbons. Louis was discharged on January 14, 1946 with the rating of corporal and plans to study Diesel engineering.
WILLIAM F. HENRY
William Henry was a railroad em- ployee at the time of his joining the armed services on December 30, 1941. He received the rating of MM 1/c and was sent to the U. S. Coast Guard Base at Boston. From there he was assigned to Convoy Duty on the North Atlantic. He is the proud wearer of the Good Conduct medal, the American Theater of Operations ribbon and also the American De- fense ribbon. He was discharged on September 17, 1945, with the rating of MM 2/c and is now employed as a steam boiler engineer.
DONALD A. WING
Donald joined the armed services of the U. S. on September 23, 1940. He sailed from Fort McDowell on August 13, 1941 and was sent to Pampanga Island in the Philippines where he was assigned a mechanic in the aerial squad. Pfc. Donald A. Wing died a Jap prisoner on the Philippines May 12, 1942.

CLIFFORD G. MOORE
Clifford, who enlisted in the Army Air Corps as an aerial photographer on December 10, 1940, was stationed for ten months at the Air Base in Atlanta, Ga. In October, 1941, he left the States, via San Francisco, for the Philippines, where he was stationed at Nichols Field. He arrived at this destination several weeks before Pearl Harbor.
He saw action in Manila and Ba- taan, holding the rank of Tech. 5th grade, but was captured by the Japs and died a prisoner of war at Caban- atuan Prison Camp on July 7, 1942, a victim of a tropical disease.
Clifford received posthumously the Citation of Honor from Gen. Arnold, AAC.
NORMAN E. MOORE
Norman, in civilian life an arc welder, entered the service as a pri- vate September 5, 1944. Assigned to Camp Fannin, Texas, he trained as an infantryman, embarking for the ETO from New York.
Pvt. Moore joined the famed 29th Div. at Aachen, Germany, and con- tinued with this division until V-E Day, which found it at the Elbe River. He was awarded the Presi- dential Citation, Good Conduct medal, American Theatre, European Theatre campaign ribbons with three battle stars, Victory ribbon with star, occupational ribbon of Germany, and Combat Infantryman's Badge. He has re-enlisted for three more years with the Army.
ROBERT A. MOORE
Robert entered the Army on Nov- ember 2, 1942 and received his basic training at Camp Breckenridge, Ky. where he was assigned to the 98th Inf. Div. He left Seattle, Wash. for the Pacific area and spent eighteen months in the Hawaiian group, attached to the Perimeter Defense of Central Pacific Base Command.
He wears the Good Conduct med- al, Infantryman's Badge and the Asiatic-Pacific ribbon.
At the time of his discharge from the service, on September 21, 1945, he was a private first-class.

JOHN DALY
John Daly, S2/c, enlisted in the service on October 1, 1945. He com- pleted his training at Bainbridge, Md., and was transferred to New- port, R. I.
PAUL MALLOY
Paul enlisted on September 15, 1945, and was sent to Camp Peary, Va., where he is now stationed.
EDWARD F. MALEY
"Red" was a student when he entered the U. S. Navy as an ap- prentice seaman. He was sent to the Naval Training Center at Bainbridge, Md .; from there he was assigned to Elementary Electricity and Radio Material at Gulfport, Miss. Red is still in the service with a rating as seaman second class. When he is discharged, Red plans to complete his education.
ROBERT G. WALCOTT
Robert left high school to enter service in U. S. Navy at Bainbridge, Md., with a rating of A/S on Feb- ruary 1, 1946. Best of luck to you, Bob, from the JEEP staff and the folks at home.
VINCENT MASCIA Vincent was inducted February 12, 1946.
JOSEPH BAUDREAU, JR.
Joseph Baudreau, Jr., enlisted on October 4, 1945 and was assigned to the Infantry at Fort McClellan, Ala. Jack is still in the service in the Sunny South.
ROBERT LAUGHLIN Robert entered service April 8, 1946 as a private at Camp Bain- bridge, Md.
