John Curing Esq Being Moderator It was Whoved and seconded that the form for a Constitution in the Commonwealth Massachusetts should be read article by article and a vote taken upon each article which Passed in the affirmative there being Present in the meeting 147 Voters
and upon the Several articles in the Bill of Rights every article within the Same was unanimously accepted Except Second, third, wirth and twenty ninth articles on the 2- two against, on the third & against on the 9 three against and the 29 with a Desire the word "No Longer" Should be aded ___ frist Chap: 1At Section accepted unanimously Second Section accepted waniucouple Except 1st Second + Eight article. It Second 3 in each article against it, the Eight article 8 Decunited - third Section accepted unanimously except third + Sixth article, one Decented

12th Day of June 1780 to Consider and act on the following articles viz- First to see what method the Town will take to Raise Sixteen men to join Jeu! Washington as Required by the gru? assembly of this State. Secondly To See if the Town will make any addition to the wages for work at the highway This year or act En Said affair as the Town shall think proper he- quested by Cap! David Brown Surveyor thirdly To See if the Town will make good the Loss the Constables for Last year has Sustained by Counterfitt money agreable to their Request
and the Selection gave orders the warrants Should be Drawn that the Town Inhabitants might be warned accordingly

Said Town Proceeded as follows
John Craving Esq! was Chosen Moderator Voted on the first article that the forwer Committee Chosen to Procure men for the Town when calls for viz the Selecturen and the four militia Captain(s) and Jonas Heywood Esq + Colo Nathan Barrett with the adition of five more iz John Cuming Esq? Cap! David Brown Capt andrew Courant Capt David Wheeler + St. Stephen Barnet be a Committee to Raise the were Called for and that they be a standing Counter to Raise were for the future. the Draught Do not Exceed Sixteen if it Does the Town to be Call. together and when the Sun can be ascertained by Ad. Contre for Raising ye 16 men your Call for the Same be Delivered to the assessors of the Town and the acsester aforesaid are hereby Empowered
