OFFICE OF ATLANTIC WORKS.
We know by experience, and take pleasure in testifying, that we have found it in every instance fully equal to your claim, " that it is the best pump now in use."
We believe yours to be the only one yet constructed which will pump lard at all times and seasons of the year satisfactorily. NORTH, MERIAM, & CO.
MESSRS. GEO. F. BLAKE & Co .: - BOSTON, May 11, 1868.
Gents, -In reply to yours of the 9th inst., we would say, the pump you built for pumping thick beer mash works to our entire satisfaction; it throws a full stream of thick mash, or clear liquor, even when at boiling-point. It is all right in every particular. We have used other styles of pumps, but yours is the only one that will pump hot beer mash, and keep the valves free.
The internal arrangement of the parts is so simple that it is not liable to get out of order. As we have used it now four months, has had no repairs, and it works as well to-day as when first put up, we therefore recommend it as invaluable to brewers. PFAFF BROS.
